Great for active lifestyle Date:December 11, 2011 Used this product for a year, then switched to another sunscreen with Skinceuticals. Prefer this sunscreen for outdoor activities and sports as the other stung my eyes when mixed with sweat. I've gone back to this product and am pleased as punch Rub it in well as the titanium dioxide does leave a white color. It's a good product, but... Date:July 21, 2011 This is a very nice, thick lotion that doesn't seem too greasy, but the color of Physical UV Defense SPF 30 doesn't match my skin tone. t.t This product works well for: Sensitive Skin, Acneic Skin Location: New York Age: 25-34 Gender: Female Skin Type: Acneic Primary Skin Concern: Loss of Firmness/Sagging Additional Skin Concern: Loss of Radiance Overall Rating:

Love it! Date:July 8, 2011 This product was recommended to me, and I have been using it for about 4 years. I love the fact that it provides non-chemical protection that works for both UVA and UVB. I wear it every single day, and it actually gives a nice smooth base for my foundation. I haven't had a burn on my face in years, even though I spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer--I just have to reapply it every 2 hours when I'm in the sun, as directed. I also like the tube itself, which gets smaller as it empties (like a tube of toothpaste), so it fits easily into my purse. Thanks for making such a great product. Too sticky for me Date:June 12, 2011 I have REALLY oily skin (only on the face) and this is too thick for me. I tried it on my hands and arms and it still felt too heavy. I am considering purchasing "sheer physical UV defense SPF 50" next to see if I would have better luck with the "sheer" formula. I wish they would come in tester size. I noticed that "sheer physical SPF 50" contains only 6% titanium dioxide whereas "physical SPF 30" has 10%. And they both contain 5% zinc oxide. It made me wonder why the one with the lower physical block content would have a higher SPF rating (could artemia salina account for the entire difference?). I emailed customer service but weeks passed and no response. Location: Madison, WI Age: 25-34 Gender: Female Skin Type: Oily Primary Skin Concern: Acne Response from Skinceuticals:By Jennifer, SkinCeuticals.com, Customer Care, September 1, 2011 Based on your skin type we would recommend using Sheer Physical UV Defense SPF 50. Physical UV Defense SPF 30 is a more emollient sunscreen designed for extremely dry or post-procedure skin. Sheer Physical UV Defense SPF 50 is our breakthrough innovation featuring an ultra-sheer fluid that helps disperse the sunscreen filters in a more uniform manner helping achieve a higher SPF value with less filters. This mattifying fluid leaves skin with a transparent finish and does not clog pores. ![]() |
