Best product yet for hyperpigmentation Date:March 8, 2012 I've tried so many different product types (over the counter and prescription) to address hyperpigmentation/acne scarring on my medium complexion skin. This product, by far, has worked the best and fastest. I use this in combination with another "skin brightening system," and the results have been excellent. No, you won't experience a miracle "before and after" overnight, but you will see noticeable fading over time. It's pricey, but well worth it. Be patient, it works! Date:November 27, 2011 I've used all sorts of department store whitening products and none of them worked. I even had my dark pots lazered off, but the pigments came back over time. This product lightened the dark spots during the first few months. I was really excited, but then it seemed to lighten to a certain degree. I was disappointed and stopped using it for months. Although disappointed, I thought skinceuticals is still one of the better products out there. That's why one day, I decided to finish what's left in the bottle. To my surprise, after a few months of rest, the product had an effect on the pigments that was already lightened by the first round of application! I've continued using it and the spots are so light now that I can't tell where they used to be! (I have to say though, I did experience some sort of allergic effect the second time around. My skin became red and puffy where I applied the product at times. When I saw this, I gave my skin a few days of rest.) I wonder if persistence and patience is the real key to using this product. If I hadn't tried this product again after a few months of rest, my review would have been very different today. I'm very happy with this product!
