Date:April 26, 2012 I have normal to combination skin. I use Perricone for my skincare and forehead was very dry. I went for a facial and the person who gave me my facial said the Hydrating B5 Gel will give me the hydration I need that my creams are not doing. This was a lifesaver!!! I will keep this in my regimen from now on! Thanks Skinceuticals!!! Important Part of My Skincare Regimen Date:February 19, 2012 I have been using the B5 gel for years and notice a big difference in dryness when I stop using it for any length of time. It glides on the skin and absorbs completely and acts as a base for my Vitamin C creme and then my moisturizer. My skin feels like it is drinking vitamins when I use it. I am close to 60 years old and I am always complemented on my skin. The quality of Skinceutical products is high. Like the oil-free formulation Date:January 12, 2012 I am usually hesitant to purchase serums, due to my tendency to break out at the sight of oily looking products. I even stopped using the trendy hair oils due to my suspicion they weren't helping my skin. I got a small sample of this with purchase, and now will consider buying the full size... even though I noticed it gives my skin a brief sting while it is being absorbed. It also leaves my skin with too sticky of a feeling for my liking - putting on moisturizer afterward is a must, and even with that I still feel the serum. I am a little confused to what B5 is? I studied nutrition, and we never learned about B5. There is B 1,2,3,6, and 12- so I am curious if this is a real vitamin, or a gimmicky thing. Overall, I am still on the fence about serums, but would consider this to be one of the better one's I've tried. Attention Tretinoin Users! Date:September 30, 2011 I am 39 years old with normal/combo skin. I began using Refissa, which is a strong Tretinoin cream, on my face about 6 weeks ago. My face has gotten slightly red and I'm peeling, which is all normal. It's also left my skin more sensitive than it normally is and dull looking. The skincare line I had been using for the last 4 years now burns and irritates my skin since I am using the tretinoin. I bought the Hydrating B5 Gel and it is awesome! It takes away the dullness and my skin feels and looks more hydrated. I was impressed with the smooth texture that glides onto your face and leaves no residue... as if there is nothing there. I then use the Emollience moisturizer followed by the Daily Sun Defense SPF 20 and even with all of this on, my skin feels great, not heavy or greasy at all and no burning! Best of all...my skin looks great! This product works well for: All Skin Types This product helps address: Dullness, tretinoin use!
