Wonderful Date:January 19, 2012 My mom is obsessed with CE Ferulic. Unfortunately, my skin is oilier than hers. When I tried CE Ferulic, I broke out pretty badly. For that reason, I was very scared to try Phloretin CF when an aesthetician recommended it (I assumed that all antioxidant treatments were fundamentally the same). I am so glad that I gave it a go! Not only does this product defend my skin for the future, it gives it this gorgeous glow in the present. And, when combined with my LHA regime, it did not cause even one breakout. Phloretin CF - EXCELLENT!! Date:November 26, 2011 If a product is effective and I see results, it's worth every penny to me and Phloretin is definitely worth it! I have tried every line of skin care that's available. I had been looking at the Skinceuticals website for quite some time, but continued to use my other brand. About a month ago, decided to take the plunge and purchased this product, Phloretin CF. After a few weeks of continued use in the mornings after my cleanser and toner, my skin is much more radiant and smoother. The sales person who I've known for a couple of years highly recommended the product. I knew it had to be great, as she knows her stuff! In my opinion and after trying so many different products, this is the best! I have extremely dry and sensitive skin and on occasion get breakouts. I have not had one breakout since using this product. Also, I had slight lines forming between my brows and they have diminished. The below reviewer states she used it around her eyes. Hmm...I would love to try it around my eyes to diminish fine lines even though the instructions state not to put it around the eyes. I may try that too! Yes, this product is expensive, but if I see results I'll continue to purchase it! I highly recommend it!! Good results, but I'm wary Date:November 25, 2011 After finding out that the CE Ferulic did not go great with my oily skin, I switched to the phloretin serum. It goes great and doesn't leave any tackiness, however I am not sure how effective phloretin is. I'm an undergraduate research chemistry student and I've read a study that claims that the half life of phloretin is about 70 hours, meaning that the serum would have little to no phloretin a week or so after the serum was made, meaning that I'm effectively paying $150 for a simple 10% vitamin C serum which can be easily made at home. If you have any more information about the stability of phloretin in solution, please let me know. Phloretin passed an 8-week stability testing at both room temperature and an elevated temperature of 45°C. In fact, there was no degradation of phloretin at room temperature after 8 weeks and above 95% remaining after 8 weeks at 45°C – which predicts 3 year shelf life. Excellent, worth every penny!!! Date:September 29, 2011 This product does what it says!! I was initially a bit sceptical, given that I have tried literally every product on the market, including prescriptions. I have extremely sensitive and acneic skin, and at 29 I had also noticed fine lines around my mouth and eyes. I had given up hope that my acne and fine lines would ever retreat. However, this product has dramatically diminished both! After using for 1 month, I can say with confidence my skin is clear, radiant, and acne-free for the first time since I was 15, while the laugh lines around my mouth have disappeared, and the fine lines around my eyes have decreased noticeably. This product is expensive, but it has given me something I thought I would never have: clear skin. I am even able to go outside make up free, and I no longer feel that I need to worry over my prematurely ageing skin. It did cause my skin to dry out a little (I use in conjunction with the Sheer SPF 50 sun block) but I just add a heavier moisturizer at night, which works a treat. Thank you so much SkinCeuticals for creating products that actually work. The Holy Grail Date:September 22, 2011 I can honestly say that I have tried everything under the sun - every new product, every expensive product, everything the dermatologist or facialist recommends. My first foray into the Skinceuticals line was the CE Ferulic serum. I loved it, but someone mentioned trying Phloretin CF. I have combination skin, decent texture, but could use some improvement, and minor dark spots, but after using this product I look as if I got back from vacation and had a facial. It does wonders for my skin! Every time I take a break from it and try something else I remember why this is my go to product!
