This botanical gel for hyperpigmentation is an advanced lightening formula combining four active ingredients to diminish discoloration and improve the overall health of the skin. Kojic acid and arbutin, natural alternatives to hydroquinone, work synergistically to help break up hyperpigmentation, while cucumber and thyme contain anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties to soothe red, irritated skin.

My skin hasn't gotten worse Date:December 29, 2011 I have severe hyperpigmentation and have done a few treatments to prevent the pigmentation come back. The Phyto + has helped me control the dark spots but haven't seen an improvement on the reduction of dark spots. So far, it has helped me to prevent but not to correct. Calmer, more even skin Date:December 21, 2011 I recently started using this again after a long break. When I used it before I hadn't noticed a big difference in my skin, though that could have been due to other factors. I tried it again recently, and am much more impressed. (I think of hyperpigmentation as brown spots, which I haven't seen a change in, hence the "good" rather than "excellent" effectiveness grade.) That said, I didn't realize how much redness my skin had until I used this and noticed a big change--my skin looks much more calm, clear and even. I am also using the retexturizing activator, which together with this makes a terrific combo.. Brightens hyperpigmentation better than anything! Date:July 21, 2011 I've tried all kinds of products for hyperpigmentation and am using this one while i'm pregnant, instead of hydroquinone. I can notice the difference every morning when I wake up. It works amazing miracles, definitely rivals hydroquinone w/out the side effects. My pregnancy and sun related hyperpigmentation has dramatically improved.
