Do not use in the eye area! Date:January 30, 2012 I am a licensed medical aesthetician in NC. This review is about use in the eye area. You do not apply retinol 0.5 or retinol 1.0 to the area surrounding the eye (do not go above the orbital bone, or below the brow). You may also experience tenderness if applied to the edges of the nose. The skin is 10x thinner in the eye area. To improve this area, use AOX Eye Gel. It is the best eye product on the market. It is pricey (retail $85) but it works! The Retinol products are being replaced with the same pump, container as Pigment Regulator. Date:January 19, 2012 I have been using this product for 3 months. So far my acne is getting better and my skin seems smoother. I have not had any problems with the pump but it sounds like I got lucky. The pump dispenses only a small amount but that's all you need. I usually use 2 pumps to cover my face. So far so good. Once a skeptic, but I am inpressed Date:January 12, 2012 I purchased this product because it was highly recommended by my facialist. I have used retinol/vitamin A derived products in the past, and found the only thing they did was give me a bad looking sunburn and peeling skin. Well, this product did the same, however the "after" results were pleasing enough to continue. I am 29 and starting to notice small lines around my brow, the "I am concentrating" ones. I was considering botox, because I thought that would be the most efficient way to eradicate them. I am glad I did not go to that drastic measure, especially while still young. I will continue using this product on my forehead for fine lines, and chin for my hormonal acne. I found it to be too sensitive for my under eye area, and using it on my nose just gives me a red nose and I am concerned about using a retinol product on a sun sensitive area such as the nose, even when using sunscreen during the day. No bottle/pump problems here. I bought it at a spa, not through the mail, so maybe it's a handling/shipping issue why people are having issues. The product itself is definitely correcting. I only need to use twice a week, which I have read is the right amount of time to use this type of product. horrible packaging Date:January 5, 2012 I was so excited to receive this product in the mail yesterday but the pump does not work!! It's brand new!! I can't review the product because I can't get it out of the bottle...after reading the reviews I realized I'm not the only one who's having issues with the pump. They need to redesign the bottle. I like this line, and I'm sure this stuff works, but I need them to help me getting it out of the bottle first!
