great cleanser! Date:April 24, 2012 I used the skin ceuticals cleanser years ago and loved it. I stopped buying it because I went to a new salon where it was not sold. I used Aveda for a while and tried three of those and then I tried some other facial cleanser and most recently, I purchased cleanser from another salon. They all made my face red and I had little bumps that would not go away no matter what I did. I finally remembered this cleanser and purchased some on line. I have been using it for about one week and my face is no longer red or bumpy. I am not too oily or dry. I absolutely love it and I am so glad that I remembered what it was called!! I would highly recommend it. Gentle Cleanser is great Date:February 26, 2012 I had been using Philosophy's Purity cleanser for about a year and began seeing a drying affect on my skin and so I decided to give the Skinceuticals Gentle Cleanser a try. I was hooked on the product because it left my skin smooth, soft, clean and nicely hydrated. My only 2 complaints - reason for the 4 bars instead of 5 are 1.) it does not completely remove mascara- leaves a small dark smudge under the eyes and 2.) I would love to see it sold in a 16 or 32 ounce bottle and a small travel size of 2 ounces. My favorite cleanser Date:December 28, 2011 I initially used this cleanser as reccomended by my dermatologist after a Fraxel procedure. My face was so sore and scabby I barely even wanted water on it. This cleanser not only cleaned my face gently but also calmed my redness and pain. When I wash my face with the Skinsceuticals gentle cleanser it feels luxurious and soft. It took a little getting used to not having suds but now I prefer it. Less waste and unruly bubbles! My skin is less agitated so the redness is minimized and my skin is now fresh and bright despite me being in my forties. My skin is actually better than it was 10 years ago. I LOVE this cleanser! Date:December 21, 2011 I used SkinCeutical's exfoliating cream cleanser for years until it was recently discontinued (I had thought it worked well enough). I then tried the simply clean, which was too harsh and irritating (and I didn't like the smell). I switched to the gentle cleanser after half a bottle of that, and love it. I wish I had been using it all along! My skin is the cleanest it's ever been, my pores are smaller, and it leaves my skin soft, not dried out or stripped.
