Frequently Asked Questions

Can I mix skincare with my foundation?

Yes, adding skincare to your foundation is a great way to create your own custom coverage. It can also enhance the blendability and hydration of your foundation. Start with mixing equal parts foundation and moisturizer, then adjust according to your preferred finish and coverage. Flawless creator liquid foundation drops are formulated without water and oil so that the foundation can be mixed with any serum or moisturizer.

Can I use foundation on acne prone skin?

Yes, however selecting the right foundation is important if you have acne prone skin. When looking for the right foundation check for a product that is dermatologist tested, non-comedogenic (meaning that is does not clog pores), allergy-tested and fragrance free. All Dermablend foundations follow these dermatologist guidelines.

Is foundation Safe for Sensitive Skin?

Foundation can be safe for sensitive skin as long as it does not contain irritating ingredients such as fragrance and perfume. If you experience sensitive skin, it is important to test any new products on your skin. All dermablend foundations are fragrance-free, sensitive skin-tested, and allergy-tested so that they are suitable for all skin types.

What order should I put my makeup on?

Once you have washed your face and completed your skincare routine, apply your foundation match of choice. Choose your foundation based on your desired coverage, texture, and shade. If you have blemishes or conditions that need further coverage you can apply concealer on top of your foundation. Concealers offer more concentrated coverage to cover stubborn dark spots or acne. Finish with a setting powder on your forehead, cheeks, chin and nose to set your makeup and absorb excess oil throughout the day.
