Rated 5 out of 5 by Weaver from The best physical sunscreen I have tried!!! I LOVE this sunscreen!!! I am an Aesthetician and we use SkinCeuticals products at our facility. In addition to antioxidants, I cannot give enough praise for the Sheer Physical UV defense SPF50. I have oily-combo skin and this sunscreen does not make me any more oily than normal. The fluid-like texture is unique as it is so hard to find a durable physical sunscreen that is not a heavier cream like texture. The packaging of the sunscreen is also ideal as you can throw it in your purse or beach bag with ease and dont have to worry about it spilling. I recommend this physical sunscreen to all of my clients with normal to oily skin, and especially those with hyper-pigmentation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bibi from Best review based on ingredients! I have been using this 1 year. The formula is almost exact to the Physical Fusion that has been raved about by Allure (see the sunscreen with red Allure sticker). I recommend Allure's favorite "Physical Fusion" over this one because of some added ingredients that make the pigments blend better. Some of the ingredients are the same but in different order. Titanium Dioxide here is the first ingredient, but in the Physical Fusion, zinc is-and zinc is a better protectant. The other sunscreen also has Peg 8 Laurate farther down the ingredients list (the biggest safety hazard here), so it's safer. Both are great. Other slightly superior. And these are the best among the others too! as they are less comedogenic and have added Artemia Salina-plankton derivative for extra UV protection. Others don't. Enjoy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kimm from Everyday wear I'm all about the texture of skincare products, especially for sunscreens, which can easily be oily or thick. This product really is sheer. It's light, quick absorbing and it doesn't leave a greasy feel. The consistency is on the watery side but I like how it applies on the skin. It takes just a few tap tap taps with my fingertips and I'm good to go. I use it after my daily moisturizer, as the last step of my everyday skincare routine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Talbot from Nancy T Excellent Sunscreen, as well as my no makeup beauty secret This sunscreen glides on my skin evenly and smoothly and is instantly absorbed, so I don't have to look like I'm wearing sunscreen. It doesn't leave that greasy sheen that so many other products leave behind, nor does it have the chemical-y sunscreen smell (it doesn't have any smell at all). I don't wear makeup, so I love to leave a slight trace of this product on my brow bone, just under my eyes, where it lightens my skin and seems to reflect light. My eyes look instantly brighter while having the sensitive skin around them protected from the sun. I use this sunscreen all over my face, neck, and chest, and have noticed a marked decrease in lines on my face. I put it on every day regardless of the weather. I'm determined to look 50 when I'm 70, and SkinCeuticals is going to help me achieve it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Srupshi from Leaves little white flakes all over the skin I am not happy with this sunscreen. It not only leaves a white caste, it does not blend into the skin well. Leaves little white particles all over the face. Looks terrible. I have been using this following the hydrating B5 gel. Customer service is not much help either. They just tell you to buy a different skinceuticals sunscreen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SykoSwimmer from Weightless This is weightless to where I don’t feel like I put anything on which is amazing for a product that’s 50 spf. It doesn’t leave a residue. It has helped reduce redness on my face from my rosacea. I wish I found this product sooner. It works too because I don’t get sun burned. I wear this everyday.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Chazza from Doesn’t work! Bought a new bottle of this to go on holiday with- I have a medium complexion and rarely burn. Put this sunscreen on and burnt so badly- applied a good layer, topped up every two hours - still burnt! Not sure if the product I received was faulty but it had very little/no protection. Used factor 15 on my neck chest etc from a different brand- no issues.. Almost gives a sheeny appearance which I think made this problem worse, seriously disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by sullyt5601 from awful white cast “sheer” is a bold-faced lie. this stuff turns you as white as a ghost and is totally unwearable in public. the kicker? you spend close to 70 bucks for an average-sized bottle. insulting really.
