Erin, can you share with the audience your experience with Advanced RGN-6?

Here at The Treatment, the focus is on the experience — from start to finish. When it comes to laser treatments and microneedling, we do great work in the office, but we want to make sure we are giving patients the best results at home too. Advanced RGN-6 has become a real innovation for us — it improves results and makes patients feel more comfortable during the healing process.

Can you walk us through the clinical studies and the science behind Advanced RGN-6? 

SkinCeuticals is not only studying products independently, they are also pairing them with laser treatments. In the clinical studies, we saw improvement both in the standalone product and combined with laser treatments — improved redness, improved discoloration, less fine lines and wrinkles, and improved firmness.

What type of laser do you use at The Treatment Skin Boutique?

We use the Cyton platform, which has two modalities — BBL (broadband light) and MOXIE. BBL targets pigmentation, redness, and unwanted colour in the skin. MOXIE is a light resurfacing treatment that addresses texture, fine lines, and wrinkles. We can combine them to address both pigmentation and texture in one treatment.

How would you recommend a patient use Advanced RGN-6 after a laser treatment? 

Advanced RGN-6 can be applied immediately after the procedure — it has been studied in that fashion. With laser treatments, patients need multiple sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. If I can get discoloration 70% better with a laser series and add Advanced RGN-6 for an additional 10% improvement, that patient is going to be much more satisfied. The skin also feels better during healing — it stays moisturised, avoids that tight or itchy feeling post-treatment, and patients look and feel better faster.

How do you use Advanced RGN-6 in a daily skincare routine?

In the morning: cleanse, apply your antioxidant serum first — that thinner serum goes on first — then apply Advanced RGN-6 on top, then sunscreen. In the evening: cleanse, apply retinol on clean skin first, then Advanced RGN-6, then any thicker moisturizers. The general rule of thumb is thinnest to thickest.

Can Advanced RGN-6 be used with vitamin C?

Yes, absolutely. Vitamin C is an essential step. Apply your vitamin C serum first — whether that is CE Ferulic, Phloretin CF, or Silymarin CF — then Advanced RGN-6 on top. Advanced RGN-6 is all about helping the skin repair and regenerate, so pairing it with a vitamin C serum that prevents future damage makes the routine even more comprehensive.

Can Advanced RGN-6 be used with retinol?

Yes. Apply retinol first on clean skin, then Advanced RGN-6 on top. If you use additional corrective moisturizers like A.G.E. Interrupter Advanced or Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2, those go on after Advanced RGN-6.

Do you need to get a laser procedure to benefit from Advanced RGN-6?

No, absolutely not. The ingredients support dermal repair and protection — helping with redness, fine lines, and wrinkles — regardless of whether you are having in-office treatments. It is a versatile formula that is powerful on its own and even more powerful when paired with laser treatments.
