WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SKINCARE TREATMENT?
“I specialize in injectables, and my favorite treatment to perform is Botox - with minimal rejuvenation time and efficient results, I love seeing the difference such a quick treatment makes on a patient.
SkinCeuticals retinol is the perfect at-home product pairing for my injectables patients because it increases cell turnover to improve the appearance of fine lines, discoloration, and aging in the skin. I love that SkinCeuticals offers three retinols in different strengths, so that my patients can gradually build their skin's tolerance for optimal results.”
WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF AN AT-HOME SKINCARE ROUTINE?
“Maintaining a good skincare routine is crucial for patients that are doing in-office treatments because they enhance results and minimize rejuvenation time. I often relate this concept to working out when I speak to my patients. You may have a personal trainer, but if you aren't doing the at-home workouts and eating a healthy diet, you won't have the results you are looking for. The same goes for skincare.”
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE PRODUCTS FOR YOUR SKIN TYPE?
"I have combination skin, which means I tend to get oily in my T-zone area while my chin and cheeks are more prone to dryness. As a result, I often switch up my skincare routine with the seasons. However, the SkinCeuticals products that I use daily include Glycolic Renewal Cleanser, C E Ferulic, Discoloration Defense, and Daily Brightening UV Defense. I always tell my patients that their skincare routine doesn't need to be long and time-consuming if they use what I call, "The Trifecta.” This includes an antioxidant, a sunscreen, and a retinol.”
